Got my first interview for Midwestern AZ today for Wed Oct 26!!! :soexcited:
 
First interview invite from CASE... coming from a sub 3.0 two years ago this just made my week. I will call tomorrow to set the date.
 
Rejection from Nova today via snail mail. Momentary loss of hope. 🙁
 
called midwestern today to ask about my app...got a rejection over the phone 🙁
they told me my gpa was way too low and that they rejected me about a week ago they just haven't sent out official notifications yet.

I've heard that NOVA did phone interviews? Is there any truth to this? I hope not lol

😱 Totally sucks man. Sorry to hear that. Hang in there though because I am sure there are other schools that will want you. 👍

Does Case send interview invites through the day or do they just send one mass e-mail to ppl who are getting interviews?

looks like we are on the same boat. my mailing date was 7/29 and my app was competed on 08/03. I haven't heard anything yet.

Haha! I guess you already noticed that some of us who had 7/29 mailing date received an interview invitation for MWU. I am gonna check their online portal furiously next few days and will just let it go afterward. 😴

My app got sent out on 7/29 too. Did you guys receive the supplemental application? I never received an official email from them saying that I got an interview...I just checked their online portal today and it said that I was invited to an interview and to schedule it. A couple people on here said this happened to them last year so I went ahead and scheduled it and got the confirmation email and everything. So check their portal frequently and you might get one! 🙂
 
Wow I just received a rejection mail from Western University and I was like WTH you didn't even tell me my application was complete. I calmed down afterward, read the mail again, and guess what? It was a rejection from my last year's application. just got trolled by the school.

I got an "app complete" email from WesternU today... I read it again, and it said "app complete"... :laugh:

no sarcasm intended, for real. your story just made me lol

are you serious? It's only been a week and you are "sick of waiting"? Do you know how many people applied before you did? They have tons of applications to go through.

You know it makes me realize that when people say apply "early", it actually means 1st and 2nd batch only because there aren't a lot of applicants for schools to review yet. If you are in the 3+ batch, there are already too many applicants and you arent considered early anymore (although its still early).

I have no idea. I have a 17 in RC, so that may have been it. I have no clue! Hopefully we'll get some interviews. You have some really good scores too. Cycle is becoming increasingly crazy. I was in the first batch, too! 🙁

Killer scores! 15 wouldn't kill you. Knowledge of the science is super important and you have proven that with your scores!

I agree but they don't start reviewing until much later. But who knows? I'm not part of adcom :\
 
Got my 3rd interview to Case today! If anyone has applied to UAB do you know if you have to send in an additional transcript directly to them? Also still havent heard back from UF about a secondary...😕

When was your app complete? like totally complete with lors, scores, secondary, everything?
 
Thanks invictus! I know they aren't as stellar as yours but I hope it'll get me in somewhere haha and don't worry we will get interviews! its still early for most schools anyway.

Apparently scores/grades don't matter so much! It's about the overall application, Parle G! You'll definitely get in somewhere. Hands down. 🙂

Dynamo, you've got stellar stats too! Don't doubt yourself! You're getting in, too! Fingers are crossed, man. It's hard to attract positivity even when it has always been my mantra, lol

Yes, I did get an email from them requesting me to fill out a secondary, but I got the "contact me if additional information is required" first, Secondary app has two parts two it, I just finished the first part and I guess you have to wait for them to send you a UF ID before you can do the 2nd part....
