For those who are interviewing at NOVA on 9/14: I received the interview confirmation email...and it says "11:45 am". Are we all scheduled to arrive at 11:45 (or sooner)? If so, how early is everyone ACTUALLY arriving.

I don't want to get there before 11 and be twiddling my thumbsies 👍👎thumbup:👎 .

Mine is 9/14 also at 11:45. I probably will arrive at 11:15 ish.
 
When I called Nova to schedule an interview, they only gave me the choices of 10/5, 10/6, and 10/7. So I'm going 10/7. Is anyone else on here interviewing then too? I'm so excited!!

What the heck....I didn't even get contacted by an admission officer to send in my supplemental. T_T How late was her mailing date? Like late July?
 
Got an interview at LECOM

Does anyone know how many interviews they are giving out and how many seats they have?

I scheduled it yesterday afternoon (8/2), but have not gotten a confirmation email yet (8/3). Does anyone know how long until you get one?

All three schools just sent their secondaries in and thats pretty much it for me, anybody else heard something more?
 
Got an interview at Louisville on 08/29!
 
Louisville Interview via email 8/3. First for this cycle! Mine is also on August 29th.

Stats: honestly can't remember my DAT breakdown....nothing below 19 or above 21. GPA: 3.7 Sci GPA: 3.5

Hey; when did you get the confirmation email from them saying that they had received all your documents? I'm just wondering when to expect an interview invite (if at all 🙁)

I got an email on July 22 that said my secondary application had been processed
 
Oregon just emailed: busy processing the current incoming class and they will start talking to us mid September. Nice to hear from them regardless.
 
In the email I got from Louisville about having processed my supp. fee it said: "Please allow a minimum of 15 business days for processing your materials in our office. Changes in application status should appear on the AADSAS website within 15 business days. Check the AADSAS website weekly for updates regarding your application status. "

Are they referring to the "School Decisions" part of the application will be updated?
 
Aww I am so jealous. I haven't heard from Louisville yet but its still pretty early. That is awesome that you guys have interview invites. Congratulations!!!

If you guys don't mind me asking...when did you get the "application complete" e-mail?
 
My last email from Louisville was July 14 which said that my application is complete and that the next contact will be regards to interviews, pretty much.
 
UNLV rejection today. 2nd rejection of the cycle.

Thanks guys. Every rejection stings but I'm going to stay positive. Rejection was via email and I'm a OOS applicant (6/27 mailing date).

They told me 24-48 hours. I still haven't gotten one either.

The username, password and the link for LECOM portal is provided in the first email you received. The one that states they received your AADSAS application. Congrats on the interview! I hope I hear good news from Nova!
 
for those who have heard from louisville - did they tell you what date your interview was or did they give you a couple of dates to choose from? lecom just assigned me to a specific date and i'm hoping other schools will at least give me some options.

They prefer in-state anyway, keep up!

At least they don't keep us waiting for a year before hearing anything else from.... (like some schools, that's not good for future planning)

Case seems to be very quiet this week... Also, for LECOM portal, I always just google LECOM (sorry if this is not a direct link)
 
Louisville just gave me the date (08/29).

-AADSAS update: Thank you for Applying to Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Your application has been received and it is currently being reviewed by the committee. At this stage we are determining if your application is eligible for interview. Generally, interviewed candidates have an overall cumulative GPA both total and science of a 3.3 or above and their DAT academic average and total science is at 20 or above. i got the same thing for BU...does anybody know if this is a future rejection? it doesnt seem like it

as for NYU...did you receive that today?

You were in Batch #2 and i was in #5. I hope they send me their secondary stuff soon, i am going to Costa Rica soon 😀

I got this too. I am pretty sure its just a default message to those who have a completed application. I don't see how this could be a precursor to a rejection. 👍

Does anyone know the answer to this? I have had a couple similar responces that say pay attention to the "Status" section in AADSAS but I know no clue what section this is.

Your fine, I think its an automated message. I doubt they have time to ease people into rejections :thumbsup:
 
Nova interview! mid-October

Very grateful.

(late July mail date. 2ndary sub'd last week)
 
NYU's interview's here today 8/5. We need to call within one week from the e-mail received date to schedule the interview. I haven't call yet, but I am surprised. 7/18 mailing batch.
Applied last year with NYU, didn't get an interview, got a rejection letter in June this year.

BTW their application complete e-mail arrived on 7/20 and says that interviews will be from mid-Sept to March 🙂
 
You got a rejection letter in June '11 for Class of '15 admission? Crazy.
I didn't get an invite to NYU either, it seems...
