Thank you! In case you haven't looked at this info, the DAT AA with the highest percentage for those who matriculated into Texas schools in 2011 was 18-19 (38% had scores in this range according to the final statistics report on the TMDSAS website). GPA average matriculated was 3.53 and 34% matriculated had GPA ranging from unknown/2.59 and under to 3.5. There is a lot of inflation on SDN, and on top of that, the numbers are not the only things that matter even if they are a great consideration. I would say if the other components of your application are there, you have no reason to worry at this point. Good luck!

No, it was actually the date when all my stuffs including recommendation letters and DAT scores were sent to the school. I received the application receipt confirmation on 08/07.
 
Well said! Although stats are important (for interview purposes), they aren't really what make the great dentists! I met some really great dentists, and some of them can't even remember what they scored on the DAT. However, without a competitive stat, the chance of getting into the door is getting ever so slimmer! Life is full of dichotomy, isn't it?

I know how you feel about pestering the AdComs. It's why I didn't write a thank you letter to LECOM... But, I think if you schedule a phone call with them to ask about your application, it probably won't be too bad. It shows that you have interest. Good luck man! I know you'll be fine though. Especially if you go with the tie bar and pocket square 😎

I did today by LECOM, I actually submitted 7 weeks ago but it never got processed until I called last week and inquired about it. Went under review today and got an invite a few hours later.
