**Official Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012-2013**

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Interviewed from 9am to 1pm at OHSU today.

Got my Acceptance email at 3:45pm!

Congrats, but dang what's your secret to nailing all your interviews?

It's just me. I wish I could tell you a secret, but it's all the stuff that everyone already knows. Be yourself, have fun in the interview, don't overprepare, be confident.

I guess it's just a skill of mine.

Agreed.
I cannot stress enough how important I feel it is not to over-prepare for interviews. Its can kill any conversation that may come up. You go in with these interviews with paragraph answers engrained in your head and say it turns out to be a relaxed conversation. Bam...you have to shift gears so quickly the people tend to falter.

Wait listed > UConn and NYU
Interview invited> UDM, Western

Trying to keep my confident high, but its really hard, especially after i was put into the waiting lists. Congrats for those who got accepted.

Keep your head up.. You should be very proud that you were able to get interviews at 4 schools. You should be pretty confident that you will get in by the end of this cycle. I envy your position! Good luck!!!🙂

that was fast..congrats!

..anyone else hear from BU about acceptances post-Dec 3?

Thank you my friend, but as you can see the status for this cycle are insane and mine are very mediocre.
I wish you the best.

BU Interview was 1/8 and got accepted the next morning 1/9. They said 4-6 weeks on interview day, but I was pleasantly shocked to find out the next day! First acceptance.

Also have post-Dec interviews at UMaryland (1/22 -- found out 1/8) and Tufts (1/28 -- found out 12/19). Only school I haven't heard from that I really wanted was Marquette. Application was put on "hold" as of Dec. 3rd, but does anyone know if they are officially done? I guess three out of my top four isn't bad...

I'm interested if there are any evidence that this cycle's stats are "insane." I'm assuming this is your second time applying?

I got accepted and I have a 3.64 sgpa and 3.75 overall. 16AA. 3 years dental experience. 2 years research.

Got an interview invite from Temple this afternoon and scheduled for Jan. 17th. When I called, they still had room for every January date except for the 16th.

Same here, 22AA, 3.7 gpa. Never had any intentions of going there tho. Guess they saw right thru me 🙄

haha same here and mine was even more apparent coz I added it in september for 9-13th batch??..... (I was second batch and they obviously knew that)

Same here. But I woulda gone there, it has the cheapest tuition for in-state or OOS! And it has a pretty good program IMO

Same. 1st batch, 3.7+ GPA 22/20/18. I wasn't expecting much since it's been so long at this point.
