I also received an invitation to interview from LSU on the same date, I just didn't post my stats as I received the invitation due to my position on last cycle's wait list. I also had a lot of helpful information regarding LSU's interview process posted in the old thread that I wish you would have saved.

That's somewhat odd, seeing as you supposedly only joined today. What's also odd is that your posts mirror those of a member who has been banned twice within the past week. Since I gather you've been browsing these forums, I think it's good advice not to act similarly.
Edit: I now see that you have verified that you are this user in another thread. Good to know.

Comments like this are precisely what I'm talking about. I'm not sure why, but these boards have been filled with venom lately. I get that we're all nervous. However, let's keep the junk to a minimum, please, especially in threads like this that are supposed to be for reference.

It's okay! I just didn't want any LSU applicants getting worked up over not receiving an interview this early. LSU typically reserves the first 2-3 weeks of interviews for wait listers and Arkansas/out of state applicants then works in the in-state applicants. They usually notify you ~3 weeks prior to your interview date and interview until the end of November, so no one should be worried this soon. Good luck to everyone, hope this helps!

Does anybody know .. Is there a trend to the interview requests.. Are they given Monday and Fridays for instance or is any day any time fair game for a invite to be given.

Would be nice to know which days are the big days if that's the case.

From reading last year's thread on interview dates, there seem to some schools who send out interviews in batches (Case and Penn come to mind) because several people post the same date that the invite was received, whereas most others are scattered. Again, this is drawing a rather extrapolated assumption from a crude observation, so take it with a grain of salt

UF sends the supp and interview invite at the same time in some cases, not all. Last year I got both at the same time and my interview was super early in the cycle, July 31st.

wait... if you're out of state...you were supposed to apply to them through AADSAS...also if you apploed through TMDSAS, you have to prove your Texas Residency if you do get accepted...

Thanks @syap! I'm not sure if they give in-state residents priority in terms of scheduling interviews. However, they do favor in-state students with around 90% of the admitted class coming from in-state students.

It is a real problem asking for an interview reschedule? I got invited by San Antonio for August 12th, but my summer school session does not end until the 15th. I also don't feel comfortable going to an interview without first taking the interview workshop offered by my school on the 21st. Is it that horrible to ask for a reschedule?

No, it is not terrible to ask for a reschedule for interviews. Remember that San Antonio asks for Monday's interview only.

My friend rescheduled his interview from November to post December.
