This problem is going to be around for a loooong time, you learn to adjust to it and live with it... Get to know your mail man now so that way you are not scaring him or her when you start stalking for your acceptance letter. 🙂

Haha, believe me it has only just begun 😉. I swear I checked my email like 20 times a day, stalked my mailman during Christmas for any info from any school and I'm pretty sure my mom just started to ignore me after asking her so many times if anything came for me back home.

😀 I didn't have the iPhone then and my old phone was stupid where the internet was concerned so lets just say that my laptop and I bonded during those months...

See, I can't roll that way. If my iphone is anywhere near my scrubs, I will get blood, ear gunk, anal glands, water, soap, you name it on my phone and then the ocd side of me needs to clean it immediately. So I just play it safe and keep it hidden while I'm at work.

Once over the summer while i was away doing an externship and my bf was moving into our new apt at home, I whipped my iphone out to check the time and got yelled at by the vet I was working with about how unprofessional it was to be texting while at work... AHEM. 'Scuse me.

I remove my phone from my pocket if I'm about to do something that will potentially get it gross. My dogs broke one of my work watches and I can't find the other, so I've been making use of the timer to get TPRs. My vets are worse than I am...
 
Unprofessional?? Haha The new grad vet I work with spends more time on his phone than he does with his patients... Kinda makes me rethink about applying to his alma mater....

I still have the old blackberry so trying to get internet pages to load is like watching paint dry haha
 
The awful part is when you see other people getting news from a school you applied to and you haven't heard anything yet. Every ding your phone makes is just evil.

If you have any questions please let me know. I would love to help ease your worries any way I can. The interview process is great here so relax. Go over your app bc they will ask you questions about it. Be ready to make decisions on a topic and stick with your answers. They were really nice. Ahh I'm so excited!! 😀
I somehow ended up as an alternate that weekend (don't get me started 😡) so I'm not sure I'll be there now, but feel free to PM me with anything.

I received an invitation to interview from Glasgow during the hurricane when we had zero power! Thank goodness for a good generator and a smartphone.

I'm going to hold off on adding myself to the list for now because I would like to hope that there will be offers from other universities. 😛 Also this whole forum makes me quite nervous and fidgety, thus why this is my first post. Congratulations to everyone else who has heard back from their schools!

I am horrible at sdn... Can anyone post me a link to the interview feedback from last year, if there is one? I tried looking by school as well as in general, but could only find things from 2006. I am just trying to find some more recent years... Sorry, I am horrible at this :scared:

It's in a totally different section of SDN: http://studentdoctor.net/schools/
That's the link, but to find it again go to the top of the page and it's under reference materials. Just choose vet schools from the drop down menu.
