Hey there everyone! Figured I'd start this thread since I recently started preparing for the June 18th MCAT. For those of you who are taking the June 2nd MCAT, June 18th MCAT, or still considering one of those two dates, feel free to post here with any questions, comments, concerns, or support you have to offer!

Good luck to you all! Let's crush it.

Had to move it to a place that's like over two hours away from my house. I live in Richmond VA had to move it to Alexandria near DC

Wait, you can still take it tmrw?! How did that work out for you? I thought they were def going to make you reschedule to July.

I had a sudden feeling to go over the C/P part of the unscored, and realized that it was very hard compared to the scored. With all the knowledge I have, I stared at questions and I was so confused. Now i'm so nervous.

Chill
Actually for me CP sample test felt easier. Maybe I was tired when I took the scored.

For the most part, I felt like I was able to somehow get to the answer after reading the passage and doing the problems in that passage.

You'll be fine since you scored super high

I scored a 510 on the unscored and 509 on the scored,so not super high haha. Although this was 3 and 2 weeks ago respectively.

Good luck everyone! This is our day. All of our hard work will be paid off today. WE CAN DO THIS! Lets go show those AAMC people what we are made of. Stare into the test and laugh because with our preparation, their "meaningless" test is nothing. MCAT, we are coming for you!

Not sure how, but I think I got 7 hours of sleep last night. Only woke up once thinking about the mcat. Maybe since I only had a few hours of sleep the night before my body was like "enough!".

Good luck everyone!! Keep your cool and pay attention to conversions. We've got this. 🙂

You guys have all worked so hard for this, time to go do some damage! I'm pulling for everyone one of us! Have confidence in your abilities and knock this exam out of the park!!!

Good luck guys! Cheering you on from Israel!!!

June 2nd'ers, I really hope I didn't crash and burn and get significantly lower than my scored AAMC. Sheesh. I just wanna know I at least did well...

I did not take it today, but here are my predictions (fun to see how it turns out lol): chem is gonna be easy. cars is always the same level. bio is gonna be hard. psych is gonna be killer. I'm basing this assuming AAMC counterbalances section difficulty across multiple administrations.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that thought the biology section was horrid during the last half.. I completely blanked

How I feel like I did

C/P: 120.... Just no.....

CARS: 127, felt all right

B/BS: 127, not bad but some questions were ????

P/S: 126, couldn't concentrate for the last half... don't think I studied the right definitions 🙁

Overall, I feel worse than I have ever felt after any of the practice tests... 🙁

I'm having myself a good cry right now......

ME TOO. I felt good in C/P and CARS and the 1st half of B/B but guessed on so many during the second half. My brain freaked. P/S was ok.

I'm going to take a nice nap, go for a run, then drown my sorrows in all the alcoholz.

What was crazy about C/P? IMPOSSIBLE? or the topic were tested?

Both :arghh::arghh: I don't remember it's all a blur now I just know I marked at least 25 questions and guessed on at least 7 (not guessing as in narrowed it down. guessing as in there were four options and I said 'oh I'm feeling choosing this one because I like the letter B')

Damn... Maybe Im caught up on the ones I was unsure about, but I dont feel stellar about it.

CP: So many calculations, some were like wtf, and one I wouldnt even know how to do even if they gave me the answer. Decent Ochem, it was a blur. Had time to review at least.
CARS. Its my 2nd best section, but I felt unsure today. Long. It was long.
BB: deceptively not too bad, I thought the passages were set up like SB but the questions were easier. Still a few wtf questions/discretes.
PS: No idea. Scored killed my confidence in this section, but it was quite different from NS.

Idk. Hoping for a 504 right now. We'll see how the next couple days go, I always suck at judging how I did.

I straight up sobbed on my way home. Almost voided, still not sure that I marked "i wish to have my exam scored".

C/P- mine was ok. first half was easyish, second half was tough. ran out of time and didn't get to read the last passage but did answer all questions. definitely a lot of calculations.
CARS- i was freaked during this section. i ran out of time and only had 8 min left for the last two passages and had to skim/think i missed all of the last 9 or so questions. i had a terrible lunch time break because i couldn't believe how hard this was compared to every other practice test i've taken. Passages were super long, even the questions were long, didn't find any passages interesting.
B/B- mine was fine. aside from a couple discretes that i thought were really ridiculously hard, this section played to my strengths and i think i did well.
P/S- absolutely terrible. i at least didn't run out of time, but there were at least 6-7 questions where i didn't know what any of the answers meant.

My advice to anyone reading this- practice taking your tests with the font like 30% bigger than you feel comfortable. it really threw me. my testing center was hot af and that threw me off as well.

C/P - first two passages like what because I forgot some physics equations -_-. After that pretty fine. Good amount of ochem too
CARS - Usually my best section. I actually thought this was easier than the scored tbh
B/B - better than C/P. I can't really remember anything beyond that lol
P/S - the literal bane of my existence. Albeit I didn't study as much for this section at all. I guess I though it'd be more definitions based but woah boy it wasn't really....or maybe it was but I didn't know my definitions......

It sounds like we may have had the same exam. Ugh Im getting so discouraged reading about the easy CARS. Ours were kinda boring, right?
