Well.
I think I may have killed Bernard. And I think I may also have brought the other two back to life.

so LIS, you said you did something that was related to WS dying and possibly to the revivals... was this a one time ability, an item, or something we can recurrently expect from you???
It's something you can expect if I'm unable to (or choose not to) fulfill the obligations of my role.
I can post normally now (and I'm obviously not silenced). Although I'm not kind of lonely here in my group of one 🙁
Clarification: I'm *certain* I'm responsible for WS/Bernard. I *think* I'm responsible for the two resurrections.

Hrm. I actually didn't think of that. I realize you're insinuating that I might be a wolf since the only kill came from me ... and I can't fault you for that ... but for future purposes of figuring out things: I'm not a wolf.
There are three obvious possibilities:
1. The gunshot was a failed attack. Since the protector is dead, I don't know why it wouldn't have succeeded unless there's another protector, or unless someone has the ability to block roles and blocked the wolf, or ... ?
2. Conversion. Seems (far) too early for that, but in some games a wolf is just given the choice to do it X number of times whenever they want during the game. Still seems too early, even for that, unless the two Others we killed really are wolves and the remaining wolves thought "Crap, we better convert while we can." I dunno. I'm not buying my own line of thought here, but it's a possibility.
3. I blocked the wolf attack (in add'n to killing Bernard and possibly/probably resurrecting the two dead players).
Really, I'm having trouble buying any of those. But nothing else jumps to mind.

Oh. Possibility the Fourth: The gunshot was from a villager who injured an attacking wolf and averted a wolf attack.
But if that were the case, I'd sorta anticipate the villager shooter would mention something to someone. So ... still not a good theory.

If the shooter was a villager and they did injure an attacking wolf, they would have to explain the shooting the previous night too (which killed a villager). So even if this was the case, it seems likely they wouldn't be forthcoming.
Yup, agreed. I'm just stuck on FFM's point and trying to figure out what may have happened, especially given a) how early it is in the game, and b) that the (?) protector is gone.

I can't say I would be particularly surprised if there was another protector role, or at least a blocking item. It seems to have been a theme in the last few games that we've had more than one protection ability (either role or item wise). I would expect that if it was an item someone would at least come forward with who they blocked.
Maybe the polar bear blocked the wolf kill? Does anyone know why or how the polar bear attacked?

It was indeed an item, but I think that, either due to mod generation or someone else's interference, it went awry and resulted in me having to post like that. I think it could have been a beneficial item (according to mod spin) but something went wrong. I assume its still circulating though, so I guess we'll see.

I know in princess bride, certain wolves could only kill every other night. Maybe the bad forces in the game (others, polar bear?) get turns at doing their thing and someone either dropped the ball or was blocked?
So catching up with the thread we have SOV back from the dead and posting in only dog pictures/gifs, but we aren't sure what his affiliation was before he died. And I agree that it seems as if he is saying to lynch SnS.
Then we have LIS admitting to killing a player and saying that it is very possible that he will do this again in the game. But everyone seems to be ok with this? Am I missing something crucial here?
