Fair enough but I there is almost always a post early in the game after night results where someone says "sorry blank" or " oh no blank got killed, sorry" and often those people are wolves. I wouldn't have even brought that up if devyn had not accused DVM of being a wolf. It is early in the game and we have to grasp at straws for clues. That being said I am not changing my vote right now until the anonymous source thing is explained more.

I always post the same thing after every night cycle.. That sucks, sorry to whomever so if you think that is suspicious... you need to pay more attention..

Well, yeah, there are usually 3-4 (or more) people who post stuff like that right after night results. The "often wolves" thing has been true for a few games, but not all of them. In any case, by your logic you also fall into this category. As far as DVMDream, I'm willing to trust devyn on this based on some behind-the-scenes PMs.

I'm just confused...if you trust your anonymous source, why did you unlynch DVM?
This can't possibly be answered without making more than one person a target...

maybe I should just shut my mouth now, you should know that I never talk this much when I am actually a wolf, just look at last game, the reason I got lynched was because I wasn't being helpful and I barely ever posted except when I was going down
Eh, I dunno about that. I asked the same thing last game and was a villager. Mostly wanted to clarify between an anonymous note like the dead people have sent in other games, or something related to gameplay kind of thing (not wanting any specifics).
In this game mostly trying to figure out why devyn was so adamant and then unlynched DVM.
Ok so here is the point I have been trying to make, if the tipper says DVM is a wolf, and DVM says she isn't, one of them is obviously lying. If you know who the anonymous tip came from, which it sounds like you do, who do you trust more? There is a 50/50 chance then of lynching the person that is lying and is probably a wolf. If you actually don't know who the tipper is why did you trust them so much to begin with?
It just seems like you're backpedaling/overly defensive to me. Going to keep my vote for now.
The problem here is that there has been something else tossed into this game that makes this not true... I get where you are coming from and I wish I could tell you more, but I can't...
Let's just say this game is different from ones we have played in the past... new info came to light that I never would have considered before.... it might be helpful in the future.

I don't think I'm going to like not being able to post during the night. What if someone gets vital information, but can't get online during that 'day' and we aren't allowed to post during the night. They can't communicate with the rest of us! Will definitely make this game interesting. I found myself reading a lot of other threads last night because I couldn't post in here.
Also, Krist, do you have a general idea of deadline times? Is it going to stay at 10am and 5pm or are we going to have more cycles in a 24hr period? I ask, because I dont want to have to RNG an item because I received after going to work. I know it happens all the time, I just don't want to do it.

Um, generally if they get info during the night they can't post about it until the day has started anyways...worst case they can message a group-mate.
Well... it's WW, and there's the whole catching wolves in a lie thing. Which is all I was trying to do since the thread and my group are my only ways to get information. Like I told my group, my suspicion of you isn't super strong (it's the first lynch cycle after all) but I still think you're being overly defensive about being questioned.
I'm willing to change my vote if something more definitive comes up.

What I mean was, say someone got information Night 1, couldn't get online Day2, we aren't allowed to post during Night2, couldnt' get online Day3. We missed lynching a wolf because of it, or someone else being able to protect/block the correct person on Night3. I know it's basically the same as being silenced, but still would suck. I don't trust any of my groupmates, yet, to trust them with vital information.
This is just how it will be, not complaining. Just musing aloud I guess.

Just an FYI...the night curfew will not be in place EVERY night, it's something that may happen along with other lockdowns etc like have happened in previous games when certain groups can't pm/post etc. but for now it stays 😛 makes you PM your group a bit more if you have something important to say!
If you have into that you don't even trust a single group member with, why would you share it on the thread? Just saying 🙂

Then just send it to your entire group. If it goes to a wolf (and odds are it will if you send it to the whole group) and you get killed at least the rest of the group can pass it along for you and the people who are unwilling to do so are going to look hella suspicious. I trawled for wolves this way in a previous game (Star Wars, maybe?) where the first night I had an item that would be high value to wolves, told my group, and lo and behold it got stolen, and pretty quickly we could figure out that there was at least one wolf in my group, and within a couple more days was able to narrow it down pretty well (then I got effing encased in carbonite and killed).
Like krist said, it's not really any different to PM your group with it than it is to post it on the thread.
Also, I like the curfew thing personally. 🙂
Me too, It keeps the random conversations down, there aren't as many posts to go through and like somone said, there isn't any information that gets revealed at night... (except in my games... 😉) so there really isn't much of a need to be posting on the thread during the night cycle. 🙂

Well when we had a cluster in HP, it was because there was a very vocal wolf actively misleading us. Just a thought. 🙄

Also, to whoever asked earlier, I'm not sure about the deadlines. If we stick to 2 cycles/day I will probably have the night deadline somewhere around 10 am cst and then day deadline around 7-8 cst to allow for west coasters to get off work and participate.
However, if everyone wants the game to move faster, we certainly can because I am not working anymore! Hence why a perfect time for me to mod again 😀

I doesn't matter to me.. I am not working either but I will be really busy next week because I have to pack for Scotland (don't want to forget anything) and I will be completely MIA tonight because I will be out celebrating my Congratualtions/going away party with friends (Good chance I may be MIA tomorrow morning too😉).

It may be a bit early for this, but we are both villagers! Don't ask how I know they are, I'm not ready to reveal that yet, this early in the game, but someone please investigate both of us as soon as possible! You just have to trust me. If you lynch me or wldlfstdnt, you will be lynching important villager roles! If this makes me look suspicious, so be it. I can't stay on here right up until deadline, I have to leave about 15 minutes before(in about 30 minutes), but please take my word for it!
