I actually ran that ridiculousness through my "Do you deserve to live?" algorithm and found that the idiot that started that thread scored a -3.88. Now I just need to evaluate the competitiveness of a plane ticket to their hometown to commence the requisite beating.

I think I glanced through a few, but it never had any role in my decision process. I've always been pretty aware of the fact that each student is responsible for what happens to them - you can't ride your classmates' coat tails to success. A class average of 235 on Step 1 won't give you that score unless you earn it.

LOL, someone played a clip of one of her lectures where she said, "The liver, um, is um, uh, um, part of the um...." She actually said UM about 10 times in 20 seconds. She's fairly helpful in CTB lab though, because I get the feeling that one of the other faculty doesn't like me too much. 😡

I had a mullet with teased bangs in 2nd grade. I was super cool (oh, no wait, I wasn't). That was in between hair perming phases.

I have CER case presentation stuff at 1, then I have to be at the VA at 3ish for my CER preceptor/H&P stuff that I've been trying to finish since February. I'm gonna be in the cafeteria for lunch.

Downside is that it makes me really want to shave my head damn near bald, which I can't imagine would go well on the wards this summer.

Eh, I think 3rd and 4th year aren't exactly the time to try out radical new styles of dress and grooming...either your patients or your attendings might not like it. You, for example, should probably give the assless leather chaps and titty tassles a rest for the next couple years.

I've been tempted to have blue hair again, since my highlights are growing out, but I don't want to have blue hair on the wards.

Winter in April sucks, but it can be kind of fun if you don't have to leave your home.

My wife finally found a new doc. She didn't like her old one, and she hasn't gone in ages (you just walked past the library computer lab, btw), so she finally found a new one. She said she almost picked a guy, but just couldn't. 😛 It's kind of scary knowing that if she likes her new doc (appt on Monday), she might be delivering our children in the not-as-distant-as-I-once-thought-future. 😱

I can't decide if the bad weather is a blessing or a curse. If it was 80 degrees out I'd have a hell of a time studying. However, I can't go to sleep or wake up if I don't get at least a few hours of sun.

I think that dude has it out for me now because when he's not sitting next to you guys he frequents my dark corner of the library and evidently takes great offense when I take one of the tables prior to his arrival. He's given me really...um...uncomfortable looks several times when he comes back and finds me sitting there.

All I know is if it comes to a battle to the death over ownership of my table, they'll never find the body back there.

Buddies would be stretching it. He was asking me about R and S conformations. I think he adores all med students or something, because I've heard nothing but negative comments from all the people who knew him at UWM (I had a biochem class with him a year ago, but we never talked). You'd think that 6 months of studying for the MCAT would *almost* be enough, but I guess not.
