Congrats! Did they ever let you know you were complete, or just that you got an interview?
 
I found mine out because I knew they started reviewing my app two weeks ago and I hadn't heard anything yet. Other people got interviews from SC for regular MD - I figured it was time for me to ask.

Sent 'em an email last night, got my response this afternoon 🙂

Now, if only VCU WOULD TAKE ME OFF HOLD AND GIVE ME AN INTERVIEW.

Thanks! I received an email from the program last night. And yes, the weather will probably be a little warm, but it won't be much worse than this Tennessee August that I'm enduring now.
 
Wow, sucks to be you guys.

Right now its 75 degrees here in San Diego, I think the water temp has been in the high 60's lately. The beaches are packed with good looking people, but not crowded.

But Good job on the interview. Plus, I'm in the lab running a western blot and a tad hung over, so its not like I'm enjoying it either!

Hey J-weezy and solitude - Congratulations on your Michigan interview invitations. When did you complete your file? I completed mine in late July. I just want to see if I am already in the pile of rejected... :scared:

I think I was complete around July 24th - at least that is when Michigan sent me an email saying they had received my LORs....

Don't worry! There are plenty of interview dates and who knows, they may still be inviting people for this first one...

Hey, sorry to hear that you didn't get an invite 🙁. I turned in my secondary very early in the summer (I can't remember, but it's on my mdapps), but my file was not complete with evaluations until 7/25. I hope this helps.

My MD status still says "incomplete" and that I have not yet been invited to schedule an interview...curious...

My MD/PhD status said complete as of middle of last week (don't remember the exact day).

Whoa also got an interview invite! I had no idea that Cornell even had a status check website...you are very resourceful.

No, not resourceful. I can't take credit - I read the pre-allo thread waaaaay too much. And, since class only started yesterday I'm enjoying a leisurely breakfast before I head to lab while perusing old SDN threads (the link was also posted in this forum about a year ago).

Do you think they'll tell us via email soon?

Yeah I used to read pre-allo but there's just so much in there that nowadays I never have the patience or time to slog through it. I would imagine they'll notify us soon...good luck with the first week of class!

Too early to worry - look at the interview thread from last year, some people were still getting notified in November about interviews.

yeah, i have the same question...which of the programs have been reimbursing??

utsw does NOT reimburse travel for interview. $230 round trip plane ticket to dallas....
 
uconn reimburses, but only partially i believe
 
NYU pays for hotel for two nights...pretty nice considering rooms at the Affinia Dumont run $360 per night and up.
