If this has already been made, please disregard.

I have seen many posts about what to include/not to include in secondaries, when to submit, what to reuse, etc. and thought it would be best to get them all in one place. The school specific threads does not get enough traffic for the more general questions one may have.

Have at it!!!

So I will start it off...

For questions regarding a hobby and activity you are interested outside of medicine, would talking about a field you are interested in be okay? Such as psychology or forensics or something? Literally my only hobby is doing puzzles...which is super lame.

depends on the wording of the question, if it asks for activity or hobby specifically, then its best to try and come up with a concrete example. just cause youre interested have you done anything about it? unless you can spin it well itd look kinda bad to answer a question thats made to gauge your outside interests (and what you did about them) with just an explanation of interest

i know one of the questions asked me about hobbys/activities, but also included the phrase "anything of personal interest" as well. then you could write about anything really

This was my thought exactly. It does not include "anything of personal interest." It specifically asks for hobby or activity. Literally in my free time a eat and sleep and hang out with my cat. But I swear I am not a huge loser...

For questions that ask if you have anything else that you want to talk about, would it be a good idea to write a "Why School X" essay or a Diversity Essay (if those essays aren't already included in the secondary)?
