Please post any info on second look. Which schools offer it? Thanks!

Um, what's that? contesting a rejection? looking at apps after they're on hold?

Vandy offers second look, and I think they pay for transportation and what not. Sweet deal.

does anyone know about tulane?

i thought all schools had second look

Medical schools offers a day that is known as a "second look" for applicants that have been accepted already and want to come to the school again to ask questions, see the facilities again, etc. before making a final decision on matriculation.

I know for sure Tufts doesnt.

I was sad that Tufts didn't offer a second look weekend. I was so looking forward to seeing the school again. They do offer shadow opportunities though where you can call and get paired with a student and shadow them for a day or two.

UF's acceptance letter states they are organizing a second look for april of next year

Are you saying that these colleges pay for airfare, hotel, etc. for us to come and look again if we are accepted? Could that be true? I read the post that Vandy does, but how about the rest? Could someone be specific about which school do this?

I'm pretty sure that Vandy is an exception to the rule. I believe most schools will pay for everything (overnight stay, meals, "nightlife", etc.) once you get there, but you will still have to pay your own way in getting to the school. Of course since this is a recruiting tool for most schools, I assume they will really pull out all the stops for the accepted students--should be fun!

does anyone know if Oregon H&S has a second look? i really need to revisit b/c the interview experience didn't sell. Also there were only four other interviewees, so i didn't get to meet a lot of future classmates.

I was told emory doesn't pay for second look, which is too bad.
