It seems like there are a lot of general secondary questions threads popping up lately. I figured it would be nice to have a thread specifically dedicated to secondary questions.

Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor!

Aren't the school specific forums for this?

They are there for school specific questions. Have you noticed how many general secondary questions have been popping up lately? This would help lower the clutter and provide great source of info for future applicants.

I have taken pretty much all the prerequisites for all the secondaries that I am receiving. The issue is my school is the quarter system. Are they more concern about whether you took the course or how much credits?? ( a semester is more than a quarter)....

For something like "1 year of inorganic chemistry" I can substitute biochem but I only had one quarter ....not a year...

I believe they care more about whether you took it or not rather than the actual credits.

Agreed. But I think there is a conversion out there for 1 sem = ? quarter that they might look at. It's probably the same conversion used by AAMC.
