Well, I know that there are only a couple Wisconsinites on this forum, but I thought I would give it a try. So, give a shout out if you are going to UW next year and I am looking forward to meeting you all.

GO UW!! I'm headed there next fall, and can't wait. There is no cooler city than Madison. (as an undergrad there, I may be biased)

And I'm really curious . . . how many of you ARE there out there???

Pre-May 15, it looks as if I am also on my way to Wisco mid-August. I'm really hoping that NYC comes through for me in the end, but UW is still a really good school and the new med building is supposed to be amazing (though someone mentioned to me that there are only 150 seats in one of the main auditoria, a small oversight considering that they are talking about expanding the class from the current 145).

Just got the call this morning!

madtowngirl, you are so right that there is no place better than Madison (but I am also biased). I really am surprised there aren't more of us around. But I suppose it shouldn't be a big surprise when most people don't know what a brat is, how to pronounce Leinenkugels, or what to do with one. 😀 They just don't know what they are missing out on.

Oh, by the way ColumbiaMPH, the new med school has two 175 seat lecture halls and one 110 seat, plus another smaller one around 70-80. This is all in addition to the 350 seat auditorium. So it seems that they have plenty of room for future expansion.

I'm beyond excited to start school. I'm loving my summer, but am still ready to get on with it! And watching the progress on the new school is very exciting. I can't wait!

madison born and raised 😉 unfortunately, i have one semester left of undergrad before i can apply for madison...i work at the med school right now...does that count for anything? heh.

Looks like Iowa plays Wisconsin in the last football game of our season. Who knows, maybe I can get some SDN Hawkeyes to roadtrip with me - Madison is an awesome town. Too bad they wouldn't let me be a badger this year. Oh well, there's always residency. 😉
