My interview day began at 11. You check in at the student affairs office to take a picture and receive your folder. Your folder tells you who you will interview with and what time. Our interview group met up with the 8 am group for lunch. Then we did a tour of the school for about 45 mins - 1hr. We broke up into smaller groups. One group began interviewing, while the other group met with financial aid and learned more about living in Lexington. The groups switched and then we were dismissed around 4 pm.

Also, the interview is either with 2 or 3 people. It’s very conversational and lasts about 20-30 mins

Thanks! How many interviews are there? Are they one on one or group?

I see the confusion. When I said “with 2-3 people” I meant 2-3 interviewers, my bad!

The one-on-one interview lasts between 20-30 mins.

How long is it? Thanks again!

My interview was a two-on-one and lasted about 20 minutes with both interviewers asking me questions. Earlier in the day it was three-on-one but one of the professors had to leave to teach a class. There was only one interview but everything else was the same. Good luck!!

has anyone that was accepted oos dropped their spot?

I declined my offer. It was such a tough decision as my experience at UK was AMAZING. I hope someone lucky on the waitlist will get my spot.

FYI, I am OOS.

I hope I get one of you guys spot because I really loved the school. But since I am on the alternate list, I know my chance is very slim at this point. hoping for a miracle.

Has anyone heard of when they will accept the second round of in state people off the alternate list? Or have they already?

Last correspondence I received was a hold for comparison email back on 10/31. I'd imagine most are still doing interviews

I got accepted a week ago from waitlist . They offer me with scholarship with 7500$ for each year.
I thought u took yourself off the waiting list already? Did u take their offer?

I took my self off from waitlist however they called me last week if I'm still interested. I don't think I will take the offer.

Oh wow now it’s a pure wait and see which ones they like. Good luck everyone still waiting to hear acceptances!

Rejected today. Got the email saying there are no more interview slots available.

Didn’t get the interview full email today or rejected today but also didn’t get an interview 😵 got a hold for comparison a while ago

Anyone have any idea when the next round of acceptances will be, as I interviewed on the 10th and was told only one more round of interviews would be given for this cycle in January.

I know there will be a meeting sort of say by the end of the month on which they will decide to send out acceptances.

I haven't received a call or email after the 10th..

I asked the same thing and missy did say there would be a meeting at the end of the month. Last year, I applied in July and interviewed at UK in late November and didn’t get the official rejection until May, just to give you an idea

To echo this, I applied last cycle in June, interviewed in August, waitlisted in December, and didn't get the official rejection/class full until June.

"didn’t get the official rejection until May"

Yeah, that is a late reply. This was my number 1 school following Louisville, its hard to make a decision with other schools also replying and the 30 day window.

Could you explain why please?
I like the small class size and how far along they are with the digital dentistry technology. Overall I was extremely impressed with both school, but was extremely excited about Uk after my interview. I know two girls that currently attend uk dental and love it.
