Yes, there is such a thing as an infectious disease pathologist. Some pathologist are dedicated medical microbiologists.

I’d rate her as an immunologist not a pathologist.
She’s a board certified clinical pathologist who did a medical microbiology fellowship and is a director of a clinical microbiology lab. Why would you say she isn’t a pathologist?
 
I agree and don’t see where the disconnect is here. She completed a pathology residency and an ACGME-accredited pathology fellowship and now works in the Department of Pathology. How is she not a pathologist?
