Yes, there is such a thing as an infectious disease pathologist. Some pathologist are dedicated medical microbiologists.

she looks extremely qualified to me. Path is a great field to be a med micro expert.
I’d rate her as an immunologist not a pathologist.
She’s a board certified clinical pathologist who did a medical microbiology fellowship and is a director of a clinical microbiology lab. Why would you say she isn’t a pathologist?
