I am going to LECOM in the PBL tract. They have supposedly modeled it after Ohio Univ. Does anyone have any info in regards to their success, failures, complaints, how they are doing on the board, and the structure of the curr.

Hi. I interviewed and got accepted to Ohio University this year. I can tell you that most students whom I chatted with on interview day said that they liked PBL very much--less stress and early clinical exposure. As far as board scores are concerned, you will probably need to contact them directly, but I also recall that the admissions director stated that OU students do very well on their board exams. For more specifics on their PBL prgram, follow this link: www.oucom.ohiou.edu/Changes.htm

Hope this helps.

I think the LECOM PBL program is modeled after Ohio State University (OSU) not the OU program.Go to: www.med.ohio-state.edu
