Just checked my addsas and there it was! I remember talking to mark (admissions guy) and he said that the first acceptances weren't going out until later this afternoon today (so right about now i guess). Anyone else hear?

I got a follow up email about an hour and a half later. Anyone else?

🙂 I got an email last night at 7 - though I suppose that's the time change. Hurray oregon, it may have to be my first choice!

Also accepted by email. We will see...I'm out of state. 🙁

I interviewed near the end of october. There was 3 of us at the interview and we were told we were interviewees number 2, 3, and 4.

Congratulations you guys! I'm hoping to get into OHSU, it's my first choice. If you don't mind me asking, how did the interview go? What types of questions did they ask you?
...I'm new to this site, so I appologize if I'm posting these questions under the wrong discussion

Meh, sometimes it's hard to navigate to find the information you want 🙂 there is actually a really HELPFUL interview section here: http://more.studentdoctor.net/schoollist.php?type=3

For the interview day, you have to first do a 15-min writing sample paragraph (don't worry about that, mine was REALLY bad!) and then you talk to Mark for a bit. You have 2 half-hour interviews and it really depends on who you get, what kind of questions they'll ask. You eat lunch with a student, shadow one of the clinics for a bit - tour the campus. It was one of the cooler interview experiences for me 🙂 Don't stress about the interview though! Just know yourself and look at the link I mentioned. I guess as far as what I was asked, one was really conversational and easy and the other one was a lot tougher: "what don't you like about your dad's practice," "how do you feel being a woman in dentistry," "why do you want to be responsible for people's health."

Thanks so much for the information. I will definitely check out that website asap. It seems like there is always a "good cop" and "bad cop"! Well, now I just need to get invited for an interview - just a small detail...🙄
