So I was lucky enough to get into my top 2 choices but I need to narrow down based on info to pick between them.
OHSU
Pros: Loved the atmosphere, amazing facilities, nice and helpful faculty and students, cool weather and places nearby for free time activities/travel, small class size, great clinical experience
Cons: I'm from Florida and far from home/family, possibly residency or specialty and not sure letters will help vs grades
VCU
Pros: Loved the atmosphere, also high tech, cool weather but a bit warmer, closer to home, close to DC and other areas to visit during free time
Cons: bigger class size (not that drastic but still), not as new/renovated, traditional grading system so might be a more competitive environment, haven't spent time in Richmond but spent a full weekend in Portland
Price aside since they are so similar, any input from either or both schools would really help! Thanks!
