Im brand new, got my EMT cert., working for a transport company on a BLS truck and getting a taste of ALS transports. I have full intentions of taking this career all the way. If you were in my shoes, what classes would you take and in what order (cant take em all at once). Im thinking anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, then... Suggestions???

Thanks for any input.

Taking this career all the way being? Physician? Paramedic? Nurse? Flight Nurse? EMS director?

I'm assuming paramedic for the height of prehospital medicine. My advice is I would get some experience and apply for paramedic school. You could also probably apply now and see what prereqs that they have for their courses. If being a paramedic is what you want most programs will help you achieve that goal without adding extra classes. These end up costing a lot of money in additon to the required paramedic classes.
