Has anybody done these exercises yet? You have to write your own questions, answers and critique them. Assignments have to be 2000 words each. I'm not sure which direction to go with this - what approach did you take? How did you critique yourself?

1) Divide up the material in the chapter into three discrete, broad categories.
2) Start regurgitating info related to a category. I tried to organize things a little differently than the course guide/text, or bring in some info from outside sources, just to make myself feel like I was adding some original thought and not plagiarizing (a challenge throughout the course).
3) When you reach about 1800 words, stop writing.
4) Look at your answer, and write a question that fits the answer.
5) You're right, the critique is totally silly, because if you have suggestions for improvement of your q/a, you revise and the critique is incorporated into the work. I used the space to say why I thought the subject was interesting, why I organized it as I did.. maybe think of the answer as the "What?" and the critique as the "So what?"

HAha.. I procrastinated so much on those two assignments.. What a drag...
