1) Divide up the material in the chapter into three discrete, broad categories.
2) Start regurgitating info related to a category. I tried to organize things a little differently than the course guide/text, or bring in some info from outside sources, just to make myself feel like I was adding some original thought and not plagiarizing (a challenge throughout the course).
3) When you reach about 1800 words, stop writing.
4) Look at your answer, and write a question that fits the answer.
5) You're right, the critique is totally silly, because if you have suggestions for improvement of your q/a, you revise and the critique is incorporated into the work. I used the space to say why I thought the subject was interesting, why I organized it as I did.. maybe think of the answer as the "What?" and the critique as the "So what?"
HAha.. I procrastinated so much on those two assignments.. What a drag...
