Hello all,

I have a questions for everyone. Is it acceptable to not take classes next semester before starting dental school in the summer? I already have a BS and MS in engineering and would not be completing anything towards a degree, but just helpful classes to mimic dental curriculum. I'd rather work and try to pay a few things off in this time if it is possible. My acceptance letter stated I need to complete "any fall or spring classes I am enrolled in". I'm not enrolled in any spring classes yet, although I did have a few planned classes on my AADSAS application (2 of which arent even offered afterall) Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Call the school and ask. In most cases, if the classes are not part of the required prereqs, it should be ok.
