Just wanted to double check the accuracy...is 500 considered a 25?

503 is roughly a 27, and is a cutoff at some schools.

Fearing the change in format, I took my MCAT before the change. I wonder how much chaos it is going to cause as I am going to be compared to students applying with the new format. Then again, I assume adcoms will just compare between percentiles and leave it as that.

Yes several times here adcoms have said they will be using percentiles.
