I have the old Princeton Review Book for the MCAT. It was published in 2001. I just wanted to know, is it helpful to use it as a review for the MCAT? I know that the format of the MCAT has changed int he past year, so is the old review books helpful for the new MCAT format?

The format changed, but the content is the same. I do believe they placed more of an emphasis on Molecular Biology in the Biological Science section rather than on Organic Chemistry (kind of like a 51:49 deal). Although I think the people in the MCAT forum would be of more help.

Check the AAMC's MCAT website for the more recent content changes - most notably in orgo.
