Older Sibling who applied 5 years ago

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Virtually zero. Anywhere between a thousand and 10 million people in this country share the same last name as you. They won't even know you are siblings let alone take the time to go pull up their file. Relation to previous students will only matter at schools where your parents (not siblings) were an alum.

My sibling introduced me to the dean, so I think they know that I have a sibling. Even if they know who my sibling was, is it likely they pull up my brother's application from five years ago to take a look?
No, that is not likely to happen. They will review your quality as a student irrespective of your brother's. Just because your brother was a 3 time Olympic gold medalist and notable play-write, you shouldn't expect any benefit. Conversely, if your brother is a drunkard who lied on his application, you shouldn't expect any detrimental action.

Overall, chill - they care about you as an applicant not your familial applicant legacy.

If you had an older sibling apply to medical school five years ago, and you are applying next cycle, will the medical school that your sibling attended pull up the sibling's application when viewing yours.
Lol, are you asking because you want to use your brother’s essays or something? Because, otherwise, why would it matter?

No just worried about them seeing I have lower gpa and mcat, and being influenced by that

Not likely to matter.

If your brother goes there and is a really stand-up guy, then you might benefit a tiny bit thanks to a halo effect. If you are better than average for that school and they'd be happy to get you, knowing that you have a family member at the school might give the school hope that you will matriculate, even if you get "better" offers. Those are two situations where it might matter.
