Thank you very much for your contributions to my earlier threads - they were much appreciated.
Now, when I was studying for membership of Royal College of Physicians in the UK, I learnt that omeprazole inhibits p450 system. This was a couple of years ago. Now I am doing UW pharm qs, and they say that omeprazole does not have any effect on p450 system. having done a pubmed search, I have come to the conclusion that there is no consensus at best: it seems to inhibit some components of the p450, whilst inducing others. Do you have any ideas how this should be played for the purpose of Step 1?
