Anyone hear from Gundersen in La Crosse, WI yet?
Gundersen by email (11/7) for Dec 7th or 8th

anyone heard from these programs yet

Email from South Carolina last Friday 11/10 for any date that you want between November 13 and the second week in December.

If you have any questions about LSU NO, then PM me.👍

Did you all abandon the >90 on Part I for an interview? A guy you gave an interview to in my class has a 2 for 31 interview/app ratio. LSU NO and a New York program. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

i scored a 87 /85, did a gpr, now doing and internship and have 7 interviews.....dont let the numbers scare you.

I like their style. Would be nice if all programs did that.

Adding St. Joseph's/Seton Hall via phone call -->11/29 or 12/18

They gave me that option as well i think at detriot recieving and at Denver 3 years ago. Its nice cause you get to schedule when you want. Ended up turning down the denver one cause i was tired and couldn't actually find a good date. Detroit recieveing was wierd, after they interviewed me they made me throw on scrubs and help out in the clinic till lunchtime.....Wierd. Nice guys though.

Good luck y'all

Received a letter for Lincoln Medical and Health Center.
Dec 7

Can someone tell me more about this program? Anything good or bad?

Thanks

Anyone hear from those programs yet ?

What programs haven't given out interview dates yet? Are there any left?

Not many left now. Nothing from Mt Sinai and Fresno.

Mt Sinai, phone, 12/20 (and another date that I can't remember)

12/5 via snail mail.

Flat,

If you do go to Denver, please post some feedback about what you learned about the program and your impressions of it. Denver is one of those programs that there seems to be very little information about out there. Most people I have talked with say they heard it isn't a great program, but no one I know has actually been there to interview.

I agree that people should take advice from here with a grain of salt and should see programs for themselves if given the chance. That said, Denver Health was one of the last programs to get back to me and I was forced to turn down the interview due to time and financial restrictions. If anyone has any questions on Temple, UOP, Vanderbilt, St. Raphael's, Washington Hospital Center, Thomas Jefferson, or Seton Hall, I've finished those interviews so PM me and I can tell you what I learned and what my opinion's are.

I go to denver on 12/21...at least that's what they offered me...don't know much about it also...so any info would help...good luck to everyone...

True. You should take things with a grain of salt when you hear things from another person. However, when you hear things from more than one person you should start to take them into consideration. Here's an example: I think that DC is great and wanted to go to a 6 year program in that area a few years ago. I got the Maryland interview and was happy. TONS of people told me that it was malignant and that i would be miserable there for all OMFS rotations and that I would hate it. I decided to see for myself and accepted the interview. I flew down there trying to convince myself that I should consider ranking it first. When I got there.....I saw what everyone was talking about. They do a lot in terms of scope, but the residents were extremely unhappy. I was encouraged not to go there by a resident if I could get into another "good program". After hearing this, I took everyone else's advice and didn't even put them top 5. It's been a few years and I hope the program is a little more welcoming, but I ended up listening to everyone else.

Does anyone know anything about their program???Please let me know if you do🙂

I just got an interview offer for January 7, which seems pretty late. When do we have to have our list submitted in order to qualify for the match?

Anybody heard anything from St. Vincent's. I was interested in that program earlier but it looks like they're taking forever, I'm about to get my list ready...

yeah i am waiting too. its pretty ridiculous. i mean its the middle of december and no news yet

ok peeps, the fact that the rank order list website has opened up has made me realize match is upon us. Time to finalize your lists and roll the dice. Gluck gentlemen and ladies.

I heard that Dr. Steinberg will go to Mississippi as an OMFS program director. Is that ture???????????? anyone heard of this news?????
