Can someone please list the programs that provide fellowships for cosmetics?
A description of each program, would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty sure you can find a list on the AAOMS website. There will be other options though and as far as I know, there are opportunities to do med fellowships as well. It would be near impossible to get you an exhaustive list...

Are you talking about a residency with an incorporated cosmetics emphasis, or a post-OMFS residency fellowship? I'm interested in finding some programs, whether 4- or 6-year that have a somewhat strong emphasis on facial cosmetics and restorative procedures if anyone has any input on that... I know that Dr. John Griffin offers a cosmetics fellowship in association the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.

Griffin and Evans both have accredited fellowships, my question though is; how much exposure (i.e cutting) does the fellow really do?

A bit off topic, but has anyone heard reviews about Dr Wolford's or Sinn's fellowship?

Directly from Evan's website:
Dr. Evans performs all of the surgery for his patients and the Fellow assists and learns by observation. Occasionally we have patients who desire facial aesthetic surgery but cannot afford Dr. Evans' fees, even with our financial arrangement plans. If the patient agrees to have the Fellow perform the surgery during the last 3 months of the fellowship (April, May, June) under Dr. Evans' supervision

I have heard mixed reviews from Griffin's fellowship, mostly negative.

Interesting, learn by observation...sounds like cheap labor

I hear for the Evans fellowship, you are asked to stay at the hotel he puts his patients up in and answer to their needs like a nurse.

VCU is a 4 year program that does cosmetics one or two days a month, on regular basis. I am positive about that.
LSU New Orleans does a lot of them. My friend who externed there said they do a rhinoplasty once a week.
Other programs are Case Western, Jacksonville (Cosmetic Fellowship trained attendings) and I heard Shreveport but I am not 100% about that.

A bit old, but I was looking for information on Cosmetic Fellowship coming from an OMFS route and came across this thread. A different option than applying for a CODA accredited cosmetic fellowship program (since there are so few) is to join the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery- AACS (for free as an OMFS resident) and complete an AACS accredited fellowship. There are options for facial or general (includes face and body). Most are 1 year long and run by OMFS, ENT, General Surgeon and occasionally Plastic guys. They do not require plastics or general surgery residency and most are eager to find OMFS residents to accept. Although these fellowships are not CODA accredited, in the end of the day it is probably inappropriate for the dental accreditation commission (CODA) to determine adequate training to perform rhinoplasty, rhytidectomy, blephs, brow lifts, peels, botox, etc... CODA approval makes even less sense for an OMFS trained provider if you have completed a general cosmetic fellowship and will incorporate full body liposuction, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, etc into your practice. Just some food for thought if you are serious about cosmetic surgery.

I recently started a cosmetic facial fellowship with Manolis Manolakakis, DMD, FACS in Shrewsbury, NJ. The fellowship is a CODA approved fellowship in its first year. I graduated from a 4 yr OMS residency. My experience so far has been fantastic and I highly recommend the fellowship to anyone interested in pursing cosmetic facial surgery. In the first 6 wks, we have performed a facelift, 3 rhinoplasties, 4 blepharoplasties, 5 orthognathic cases, a cleft palate repair, and innumerable botox/lasers/fillers. When have several more facelifts in the pipeline as well as other surgical cases. Dr. M is extremely generous with getting the fellow involved in the surgeries and lending his expertise. The office is beautiful and high end. Again, still early but I highly recommend the fellowship.

What sort of procedures does a cosmetic OMS do? Sliding genioplasties and FFS or more focused on face lifts?
