OMFS - is there any significant difference between Peterson's Principles 2nd vs. 3rd edition

I wanted a hard copy but the difference in cost is >$300 between the two editions.

No. With that difference I'd purchase the Atlas of OMFS written by Drs. Tiwana and Kademani.
