Does anyone know of an sites that has a "quick" review of extractions etc.... I have a competency and want to make sure everything looks like I know what I am doing!!!!

a comp for extractions?
..on patients??

how the heck do y'all do that?

My dental school had to do it too. We had to section it with a handpiece. Most of us just pulled the damn thing and sectioned it on the table before the prof came in. Just make sure you can count to 32...

We didnt have to do any extractioins, but I know that another dental school gave extraction competencies............and they lost points for having any sorts of bone/tooth fractures.

i believe our requirement here is 2 "surgical" extractions...no comps to stress out the students (and the patient)

however, we have emergency/OS details...a week per quarter and then alternating break weeks.
considering we see 5 or 6 patients/day each in emergency..
..i think most get their 2 complete before lunch on the first day.

actually ohio state DOES have oral surgery compentencies...
a Rx writing, clinical portion and a case presentation.
