Omgorz They Take Forever To Process Transcripts Omgorz
any others in similar situation?
whats the street address? It is so lame. I sent my community college transcript on 6/7 and it still hasn't been recieved. I sent my University transcript on 6/8 and it has been received just today 6/18.
I sent my CC transcript to the PO box address and sent the University transcript to the street address. Lesson for today children? Send it to the street address not that dumbpoo PO bex.
i was just wondering if anyone has ever received 2 separate emails from amcas in one day about receiving transcripts. i have 4 in total. the one from my undergrad was sent on june 1, received june 11. one from a state school was sent on june 6th and received on the 15th. one from a community college was sent on June 6th and received today (june 18th). I still have one more out there that was sent on June 7th. would they have said that they got both of them or do they not separate them by people and just have them in a big stack? wow i am being really neurotic. disregard this post. if you read this far you are a nice person and i wish you the best in your application endeavors. 😍
I just got my transcript notification email today. I ordered my transcript on June 6th and today is June 19th. The funny thing is that in the email it says that AMCAS received my transcript the same day my school sent them out, June 6th (my school sends transcripts electronically).
This just shows you how long AMCAS can take to notify you of things. Just hang in there!!!
That sounds familiar. The last transcript of mine that AMCAS received was from Georgetown: the transcript that was going from NW Washington, D.C. to NW Washington, D.C. - a grand total of about 19 blocks away. It took three weeks. I drove down to D.C. two weeks ago for a friend's wedding - I could have gone down a day earlier, picked up the sealed transcript, and hand delivered it.
and yet I stuck an envelope in my mailbox on Saturday (in central Texas) and it was delivered in South Dakota on Monday.Welcome to the hell that is the USPS in DC.
When I was an undergrad, my GW med rejection letter took 9 days to reach me after it was postmarked. I lived 3 blocks away from the medical center.
the good news is that if AMCAS already has your transcripts when you submit your application for review it doesn't take the rummored 4-6 weeks to be processed. I submitted mine Saturday, and I woke up to an email this morning saying it had been processed! 4 days! yay- so hang in there
They take time. That's why you sent them in early.
I had mine sent June 4th to the PO Box, and just got an email this morning saying that they had recieved it on the 12th. So hang in there, yours should be logged in soon 🙂
