For the record, I don't do 4chan. I visited a couple times, my mind was blown by the uncensored filth that some people are willing to say, and that was the end of it. I learn of my memes when they pop up on sites like reddit and if it's not immediately obvious, I look it up.

tl;dr -- meme savvy =/= 4channer

I must have misunderstood, because the first time I read through that I thought you were implying that 4chan and reddit are the same (or even remotely similar).
