Has anyone been to any of the OMS review courses? (NO, NYC, Minnesota, Denver, Miami) I'm signing up for New Orleans one this September and will probably go to the cosmetic part too. I've heard NO is still in pretty bad shape. Thoughts?

I eventually plan on doing one, but I'll probably wait until closer to my boards, if I'm gonna fork out that much money.

I went to Denver my 3rd year and it was good. I will probably see you in NO this September.... I liked Denver alot....review courses are like a marathon though. Sitting for 60 hours makes you a little sore...

I went to the ACOMS in New Orleans in January. Was great. More technical based than board question review based, though. NO was in not too bad of shape. Bourbon Street was alive and kicking - Plenty of flashing going on as the Saints won that weekend. LSU-NO was partly up - At least the medical school building was, with the cadaver lab... Some of the ceiling tiles were out and they were re-doing the wiring, but the lecture hall was clean and smelled nice, and the Audio Visual stuff was all good. You could still see the water marks from Katrina on all the LSU buildings, though.

I am thinking of hitting Minnesota this summer. Short and sweet.

Has anyone been to the NYC one? The speakers looked good last year, but it is relatively new... I didn't want to be one of the first people to go...

I'm probably headed up to Minnesota this summer with a couple other peeps. 3 days is more than enough info to take in.
