Hi,
I have a question about the OMSAS GPA scale. I will be graduating in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Nursing degree. Prior to doing nursing, I had completed 2/4 years of a Bachelor of Science degree, thereby completing medical school pre-requisites. In the process of transferring from Science to Nursing, the grades of some courses (1st year courses that Ive not done very well) have been dropped in the cumulative GPA since they were extra electives as per nursing protocol. MY GPA is currently 3.7/4.0 scale. So, the question is, for the OMSAS GPA calculation, will it be taken into consideration that some courses have not gone towards my overall GPA though I have completed them? Or will they include the bad grades as well?
Cheers,
Indira
