I just took my first practice DAT in that kaplan class. I took this test cold with no preview and got a 16aa 14pat. Is this a bad sign? How much do scores go up after you take this class?

Everyone does poorly on the first Diagnostic on Kaplan. It's really not a gauge for much. Your scores will go up...by a lot if you're willing to put in the time and effort, as I think you will. So don't worry about the diagnostic score.
