I was wondering if anyone can help me understand something from FirstAid. I'm using first aid 2012, there is this section under Biochemistry about "Glycolysis regulation, key enzymes" on page 104.
I don't' understand what the negative and positive signs mean next to ATP -, Glucose 6 P - hexokinase, Fructose 6 P - glucokinase mean. Do they indicate inhibition and stimulation?

Can anyone explain me please?

Thank you

Exactly. + --> positive regulation (stimulation), - --> negative regulation (inhibition) of the enzyme in each situation.
Specifically: glucose 6P inhibits hexokinase, fructose 6P inhibits glucokinase, ATP inhibits Phosphofructokinase-1 etc etc
