Wow,

This week has been horrible for scooby....
Got waitlisted...Bad Break up...angry boss...could lose job...got a cold...Now this email from UCSD....

Your application has been put on hold for possible interview. This means
we will not be interviewing you at this time, however, you may be
interviewed at a later date. Please be advised that we only interview 25%
of those receiving secondaries.

BLAH! I don't want that crap..I live in Cali...I want an interview there 🙂
I found this link from last year about Cali residents and getting into Cali schools...

Can someone teach me how to create a link with a word like "cool thread" and then when you click on it, you will be taken to the URL I have posted???

Ooooh, I can't believe I get to teach the great Scooby something! Just click on the URL button underneath the post you're composing. A box will pop up that you put the URL in, then another box that you put your cool phrase in. Voila!

Hey I've heard of this tactic earlier, I think it's somewhat cheesy, but you can write them a letter asking for an interview. Well basically try convincing them in allowing you an interview. Be creative and muster up all your cogent powers?

Yeah, as you might have seen here already, I too got that lame USCD email and I am also a CA resident---I already posted that I thought it could have been more tactfully written but whatever. Also, I have my first rejection--Pritker. 🙁

You want to know why this process makes NO sense? I was rejected from U chicago without interviewing and received an invite from Northwestern--a school that interviews a smaller % than Pritzker--What gives?!? 😕
