Word to the wise: be johnny on the spot with your school deposits. Get some sort of delivery confirmation. Luckily I did, and my deposit never arrived at the school. I presume it was lost in the holiday mess.

Needless to say, I'm having to spend more money to overnight a check to secure my spot until the postal service can find the mail containing the forms I signed. 😡

Thanks for the tip...i'm on my way to the post office to mail off my deposit for PCOM.

When I sent my deposit to UNECOM, I also emailed Lisa at the admissions office letting her know it was on the way and please contact me if she doesn't get it. She wrote me an email four days later stating she got it. I just sent it regular mail.

Typically I'd agree. I had a confirmation delivery made for the school I sent my deposit to, but since I could see my deposit situation info online, I realized this wasn't always needed. I wonder if anyone's ever lost their place in med school for not having their deposit in on time?
