My interviewer wrote his email on a post-it note and asked that I email him if I had any other questions about the institution. It would be most appropriate to send my thank you note by email using this address, correct?

Correct.

Yes, that would be appropriate. You could also send a thank you note via snail mail, but I like email better, especially when they give you their address. Trying to find email addresses for these people can be hard at times.

Is it really polite to email all of your interviewers after meeting with them? Doesn't it feel a bit cliche? I guess that means yes (since they'll expect it and think you're an ass if you don't) and you also have to make it creative, more than the simple thank you.

how creative do you have to be? i think i used all my creativity for my PS and secondaries there's not much left for a thank you note 😉😛

If you aren't given an email addy, it is not considered better to do snail mail since it requires more effort on our part?

I would snail mail her a note. There is nothing more personal than a hand written note. Email is completely destroying hand written letters, so maybe you will stand out in a good way. If you mail it to the admissions office, they will forward it to her.

One did not give me an email address, so I typed up a thank you letter and post mailed it. I think it's fine.

It doesn't have to be "creative" or long but you should mention something you remember from your interview to jog their memory about who you are. Ie, "I enjoyed talking with you about medicine and our shared love for the Chicago Bulls".

I did all hand-written notes but I think email is fine if they gave you their email address and are under 60. The older someone is the more likely they are to appreciate a hand-written note.
