I've been accepted at several schools, and at this point, including my top three choices-- university of WI madison, cleveland clinic, and chicago-pritzker. What can I do to find out more about schools once I'm in? My premed advisor suggested contacting other grads from my college who are at these schools, as well as contacting the financial aid officees to see what sort of package I would likely receive. What else are you doing?

wait for the second look weekend? I think more and more schools are doing that.

Congrats on your admissions to 3 very amazing schools! I think three main factors that weigh into choosing your final schools include:
(1) Reputation/Rankings
(2) School Atmosphere: Contact a student at the school and ask to spend a couple days with him/her. Are faculty members supportive? Are the students highly motivated? Is it a challenging atmosphere? etc...
(3) Financial Aid: Though it's nice to go to a "big" school, what is your financial aid package like...

Best wishes and congrats again...maybe we'll be classmates if you end up at the University of Chicago.

When you have multiple acceptances, don't forget to check out the locations of each school. You are afterall, going to be there at least 4 years.

I chose my school over some of the others because of location. Some places just weren't where I wanted to spend the next 4 years with my family.

I would then ask to be put in contact with some current students and some who have graduated recently and ask them for an insiders look.

If it is possible I would ask to spend a day there in classes with the current MSI class.
