One month after application complete, no interview invite?

For MD/PhD applicants (to both MSTP and non-MSTP), what is the usual wait time between submitting secondaries to a interview invite? I'm asking because there are several schools I've applied to that I've completed secondaries exactly a month ago (or longer) but I've never heard anything back. I was notified that my secondaries was complete September 10-20 for the majority of my schools. Do california schools give interview invites later?

Should I call the MD/PhD admissions office to ask where my application stands?

Th wait is kind of harrowing at this point when I see so many people getting interview invites in the other threads.

I was complete at most of my schools by mid-August. I've only heard back from 10/18 schools so far. There's a lot of waiting involved in this process. Hell, a school I interviewed at last month told us that we'd find out whether we got in or not on 10/16...I'm still waiting.

First news came in mid September, I was pretty bummed until then and then they cascaded and I'm at 7 now.
