just found this great forum, i love it, it seems it aint just me stresing over dental school but yea here are my stats

overallgpa = 3.1
science gpa = 3.8
major gpa = 2.7 - majored in english i just didnt like it, but i stuck with it

i didnt know what i wanted to do until my junior year of college, so ive been a it confused in school and such.. finished all my prereqs my junior and senior year with a kickass GPA, just my overall is crap, and major is crap

took a few practice dats and ive been scoring a consistent 19-20's straight through

i have around 100+ hours of working with a dentist/shadowing

im afraid my overall GPa is really going to hurt me

Don't worry you have a shot at the some schools. STUDY YOU ASS OFF for the DAT and shoot for 21+. Itll prove that what happened was a fluke and you are a changed person and ready to work hard. Your science gpa is very impressive. Don't worry you'll get in somewhere.
