If I have the opportunity to participate in a short volunteering opportunity would it still be viewed as valuable to admissions committees even though it's not long-term? It's health education volunteering for the special olympics summer games which is only two days. How would I include it in the AMCAS? Sorry if this has already been asked.

I think you should volunteer at places/ events that you think are meaningful. Even though it isn't a long term commitment, if it is meaningful to you, you should do it! And then you can volunteer with other orgs that support a similar cause (like the autism society) to turn it into a longer term commitment

Adding onto my previous comment, the isolated volunteering event might not be as significant on amcas but if you follow up by volunteering with similar orgs you can group them together in the activities section

I agree that it would be suitable to group it with other short-term volunteering. You can group involvements that aren't closely related so long as they fit the tag you give the space, such as Medical/Clinical or Not Medical/Clinical.
