  1. Pre-Pharmacy
I got accepted to UB and MCPHS.
Since I want to go to UB, I am taking online anatomy&physiology I class at Cayuga community college.
My undergrad school does not offer anatomy class, so I have to choose local community college.

My questions are:
1. Does the online class appear same as regular class on the transcript?
2. If the prereq guideline does not state anything about online classes, then is it safe to take online classes?

1. Call your admissions advisor.
2. Call your admissions advisor.

They will know exactly what you need and advise you on prerequisite coursework. I was able to do the same with the A&P classes, but that may or may not be the case for you. Get your information direct from the source (the school), as we (here in the forums) are really only able to speculate on what your schools require.

I would definitely call the admissions office for further info on prereqs. But if you're looking for an anatomy class online, I'm currently taking anatomy online at University of New England distant education. I'm in Cali and the school is in Maine. The class is self pace which I believe is harder because then time management is definitely have to be your bestfriend. But it is a little pricey around 1g for the class.

Hope this helps!

I think for UB you need to take A&P with a lab for 4 credits. I have the same problem but I'm taking the class over the summer at my cc. and they said that was fine. So I would call and make sure if you need the lab portion of the class or not.

You better call UB. at my CC you need to take the highest level of mammalian anatomy/physiology(senior level) in addition at 4-year school. I don't know if this is because buffalo does not accept my cc's A&P class or if it applies to all cc's. Buffalo is the most pickiest when it comes to accepting Bio. credits, for example Cornell University accepts the Microbiology course at my cc, yet buffalo does not...
