hi everyone,

one of my friends is about to start his anesthesia residency at some small program inPA. He is a DO and most of the students there are not high scorers. His program is weak with didactics. He himself took USMLE step 1 twice.

He asked me if there is anything online that he can view or purchase, something like an online lecture series for the boards. PLEASE reply to this with any info.

thanks!!!

I would love to get my hands on some good anesthesia videos as well. Anyone have any suggestions. I learn best this way.

I've listened to a number of "beyond anesthesia" podcasts. They're pretty good but there aren't very many lectures. Iirc it's on the stitcher android app.

Audio digest has been awesome listening to in the car. They cover tons of bread and butter topics and they bridge into critical care stuff quite often.

University of Kentucky has some good ones that are free, go to Itunes University. They have alot of ITE prep and subspeciality review. Their program director is a board writer for written boards and their chair is an oral board examiner, so it seems they try and teach to what's board relavent.

I really loved the ones from U of Kentucky but they actually just changed their website and it looks like they took all of those free lectures offline. I cant access them by itunes either. If you are able to access them still form itunes please let me know.

Yupp I wasn't able to find U kentucky on itunes either. However there were some other anesthesia board review lectures up on itunes, haven't listened to them yet so comment on how good they are
