I filled the online application today for the CBT>Got the confirmation mail too...though that only means that they have received my application.....nothing else...any way called the ADA to be told that they process applications only on thursday and so mine will be in the box till next week.Any way she said after that I should call on the following Monday and she will give me the 1-800 number where I am supposed to call and take the test date and centre.

So all those who have filled the form why don't you all just call 1-800-232-1694....and ask them whether your application has been processed and if they have the 1-800 number ready.Also she asked me if I want a letter stating that I am taking the exam for Visa......no way....surest way to be rejected.....but do call up and ask them about the status of your application.And don't listen to the recorded info....talk to some one.....

I am planning to take the CBT in last week of June.Might attend the Liberty Conference at Philly.Any one of you coming for that?Its on the last weekend of June and registration is FREE>Thought we could have a small SDN meeting?

After applying for the cbt part 1 & once u get the 1-800 number, within how many days u should book the dates? I mean for how many days is it valid?

HI there....I am not too sure but I think u have to take it within 3 months......there is a link on the sticky about the CBT posted by Meetlife...u will find the exact details there.....

once you get the 1-800 number,you are eligible to make an appointment and take the examination with in 12 months from the day you receive the letter.If you do not schedule an appointment and take the test during this 12 months,you will need to submit a new application and fee in order to participate in the examination.

Thank u tempabc & gpg for the replies. !2 months? wow! that's a lot of time. I am gonna goahead & register for the exam today although I am gonna take the exam only by the end of july. 🙂 Thanks again.
