In order to take all the classes I need next semester, one of my options is to take a lib ed through my university online. It's completely unrelated to my med school application and is only needed to fulfill one of my requirements for graduation (its a food science class about dietary supplements). Anyways, I was wondering if it would be looked poorly upon instead of me taking a different class in person. I would never take a prereq for med school online, however for my convenience I was wondering if it would be acceptable for a class like this.

I wasn't aware it showed whether a class was taken in a classroom setting or online.

Well at my school online classes are not categorized under the regular academic session because they give you 9 months to complete the course. So if one were to look at my transcript they would see the course under the online session, not the fall or spring term in which I registered which is why I am asking.
