I am planning on taking Ochem 2 and lab over the summer, but most places in-person classes have been moved online. I've seen that you won't be punished for taking classes online if they were moved online because of corona but what about classes that were always planned to be online? The class I'm looking at was only ever going to be offered online. Would that be viewed as me trying to get out of a class by taking it online or would I be fine to take it?

Many schools have started to move away from requiring organic chemistry II. I think you will probably be okay with taking it online as long as you take the rest of your prerequisites in-person (or whatever the school's planning to do moving forward)

Class offerings (online vs. on-ground vs. hybrid/blended) do change from term to term. I think you will be fine since everyone else is in the same type of situation.

At the end of the day, so to speak, it does not matter how you learned the material, just that you have mastered it and can apply it.
